Todd Stewart
Lead Pastor
Pastor Todd currently serves as the Lead Pastor at Forestville. In this role, Todd serves as a shepherd for the church. This includes loving, leading, and caring for God's people. Todd also enjoys the privilege of preaching and teaching God's word! Todd thrives on seeing the church well-ran, organized, and working together. He believes that we are always "better together."
Todd was blessed to grow up with parents who love Jesus. At age 9, during a weekend revival service, Todd felt Jesus speaking to his heart and he surrendered his life to follow our Savior. Todd believes that Jesus has made all the difference in his life!
Todd has served as a pastor for over 30 years, beginning in 1994. He completed a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Ph.D from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Todd has found that the greatest joy of being a pastor is seeing someone meet Jesus for the very first time! In addition, Todd has a passion for unlocking the truth of God's word and seeing it come alive in people's lives.
"A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." is from Proverbs 16:9 and is the verse that speaks most loudly to Pastor Todd’s heart. Todd enjoys sharing his life with his wife, Alisa. They have two adult children, Tyler (Leah) and Madison (Evan). They also enjoy being Papster and Anna to Whitlee, Walker, and Reid. Todd’s hobbies include hiking, cooking on the Big Green Egg, and following Mississippi State Baseball! During football, basketball, softball, and baseball seasons you can frequently find Pastor Todd cheering on the sidelines for various members of his Forestville family.
